Okay, the green car has better things to do and the red car want's to ride shotgun with somebody else. Where's our Christmas Spirit![image] BTW if the St. Jude Marathon is that day I may not be able to leave my neighborhood to get to the parade. I always hate that day because they block off all the streets around here.[image] I'll manage somehow![image]

It's a breeze to replace. That is once you get the tranny out. And while you are in there you might as well replace the clutch at work over the flywheel.

Thank you to everyone. The car I wanted was on Ebay. Beautiful car from Florida, hard top real pretty photos. I was warned that it may not be a wise choice. This has opened up several other leads which I will follow up on. This is alot like your first love... nothing else can measure up. The 03 that I had last year was the most perfect car.. I don't know that another car will measure up to his beauty. I was in Blytheville at the car show with you. I am the VP of The British Sports Car Club and own a classic Mini. She is a great car but my love for cars is pushing me towards a Miata, again. I will keep you posted.

Mike has given some good info. As for the soft top it is where is always is, you will have to take off the Hard Top to check it out. Make sure you get the current owner to take off the Hard Top, and check out the soft top to make sure it is decent condition.

Clutches aren't terrible. I would advise looking on Miata.net in the garage section. They have a good write up on replacing a clutch. Also the use of six point sockets is a good idea. I would also apply liberal amounts of penetrating fluid to the misc bolts before starting. You also might want to put a new slave cylinder in and bleed the clutch fluid while you are at it.

That is a great first Miata! You will find lots of help here is the club fixing it up.
BTW we are having a get together this Friday. Come on out we have curves out here.
