Does anybody have any experience or advise on building a garage? I am tired of not having one. We live in Midtown in an old home and I have put up one of those Sam's Club temporary carports for the 03, but I really would like to build a two car garage. I want it to be similar style as our bungalow home with the overhanging roof. I guess craftsman would be the style. I will have to have a slab…

Mikec: Lifter Noise — Does anyone else's car have excessive lifter noise? The car does it a little at start up and once it's been driven several miles it gets pretty bad. Oil level is fine, about 500 off of being due for a change. The guy I bought the car from said it's done it since he had it but when I asked about what oil he uses, he said Castrol 10w-40. My understanding is these cars should run 5w20 or 20w-50 to…
Mikec: It's official — I bought an NA yesterday. I bought the '96 that has been advertised on the scca board and i think someone mentioned here as well. It has a lot of bolt on stuff and he threw it a lot of the stock parts that he kept. it also came with the small trailer, 3 sets of wheels/tires and one set of bare 14" aluminum wheels. haven't driven it much other than from my credit union to the house. i will be…
Rednecksmoker: Rear seal — well i believe i have found out that my rear seal may be leaking somewhat and need to replace this anyone know how hard or what really is involved in this?
Patricia: possible candidate for me — I may go look at a car today, a 99 on craigslist #1439358273 it is in my price range. There are no pics so I maybe very disappointed. The car is in Olive Branch or Southaven.Seems like a nice day for a trip! He says "Black top has torn place, radiator fans don't work" How serious could the fans be ? Is this an easy fix? Has anyone experienced this? Thanks again, Patricia
Joereed: Cars & Coffee - Saturday, Nov. 7 — Some of the local car clubs have tried to start a monthly Cars & Coffee event similar to those that have been so successful in other cities. The location chosen was the parking lot at Holiday Ham on Erin Drive at Poplar (one block west of Mendenhall)...chosen because of a good breakfast menu, a large parking lot and a central location. The idea was to hold it on the first Saturday each month…
Mikec: Soooo mad right now — i got off work and had all my stuff ready to do an oil change on the car. i'm actually small enough i could get to the drain bolt without lifting the car (and remember, it's lowered). I got a 19mm wrench on it and couldn't budge it. Ok, no problem, out comes the 3/8 ratchet. no luck. I hate to raise the car and take the right front tire off and get my half drive and about 2ft worth of extenions…
